Terms of Use
This is a courtesy translation. The legally binding version of this document is the Portuguese one, at warhuts.com/termos; in case of any divergence, it prevails.
Last updated: 23 August 2026.
These Terms are the agreement between you and War Huts for you to play. They cover the game in the browser (warhuts.com), the War Huts apps published in the stores (Google Play and the App Store) and this website. By signing in with your account (Google, or email and password), creating a village or using any part of the service, you declare that you have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the game.
1. Who may play
- War Huts is for people over 13 years old.
- Anyone between 13 and 18 should only play with a guardian's knowledge, and in-game purchases require you to be 18 or to have a guardian's authorisation, and the guardian answers for them.
- You need an account to store your progress on the server: either your Google account or an account created in the game itself with email and password. The account is personal and non-transferable.
2. What War Huts is
War Huts is an online strategy game in which all players share a single world: you found a village, build, train an army, hunt monsters, trade, form clans and attack and are attacked by other players. The game is under active development: rules, numbers, economy, artwork and features change often, and that is what keeps it alive. These Terms exist so that this evolution is not a surprise.
3. The account and the nickname
- You are responsible for what happens in your account and for keeping the Google account or the password that opens it secure. If you suspect unauthorised access, change the password (with Google, or by asking Support for a reset) and let us know.
- Email and password account: when you sign up you get a confirmation link at that address, and the account only enters the game once it is opened — the link is valid for 24 hours and can only be used once. The email is the key to your account: use one that is yours, because that is also where the reset link goes when you forget the password, and whoever opens that inbox gets into the account. Providing someone else's email is a breach of these Terms.
- The nickname is your public name in the world and it is unique. It cannot be changed once chosen. We may alter or remove a nickname (and a clan name) that is offensive, misleading, that impersonates another person or the game itself, or that breaks the law.
- Each person should play with one account. Having more than one is not forbidden in itself, but using extra accounts to gain an advantage — feeding a main village, forcing shields, manipulating the noticeboard or the leaderboard — is cheating (section 5).
- Accounts may not be sold, bought, traded or handed over.
4. House rules
The chat, nicknames, clan names and any text you write in the game are seen by other people. The following is not allowed:
- Insulting, threatening, harassing or stalking anyone; hate speech or discrimination of any kind; sexual content, gratuitous violence or illegal content;
- Disclosing other people's personal data, impersonating another person, a moderator or the game itself;
- Spam, advertising, malicious links, scams, requests for passwords or payment details;
- Using the game for any illegal purpose.
The game has PvP: attacking, looting and forming alliances are part of it and are not harassment. Words, on the other hand, can be.
5. Fair play
The server validates every move against the rules of the game, and trying to get around that is forbidden. In particular, the following is not allowed:
- Using modified clients, scripts, bots, automation or any tool that plays for you or sends the server something the game interface would not send;
- Exploiting flaws, bugs or unintended behaviour to gain an advantage. If you find one, tell us through Support — reporting is welcome; exploiting is not;
- Attacking, overloading or trying to break into the server, the website or other people's accounts; scraping game data in bulk;
- Selling, buying or trading anything from the game (gold, troops, resources, pets, accounts) for real money outside the official shop.
6. What happens to those who break the rules
Depending on the seriousness and on repeat offences, we may: warn you; delete or edit content; remove you from a clan; take back advantages obtained irregularly (gold, resources, troops, leaderboard position, achievements); suspend the account for a period; or ban the account permanently. In serious or obvious cases (a tampered client, an attack on the server, a scam against other players) the measure may be immediate and without prior notice. A ban for breaching these Terms gives no right to a refund of purchases, except as the law guarantees. You can dispute any measure through Support; we look at what the server recorded and reply.
7. The game changes — and may be reset
This is the most important section for anyone investing time or money in the game, and we ask you to read it carefully.
- Balance and rules change at any time: the strength of troops and monsters, prices, times, drops, resources, whole mechanics may be created, altered or removed. A troop that is worth a lot today may be worth less tomorrow. That is part of the service, not a defect in it.
- The world may be reset (a "wipe"), fully or partly, especially while the game is in its testing phase or when a fundamental change requires it. When that happens, we will give reasonable notice through the in-game Mail and on the website.
- Gold bought with money and not yet spent is restored to your account after a world reset. Items, troops, resources and progress obtained by playing — including what was bought with that Gold inside the game — are not restored, because they are part of the world that started over.
- We may interrupt the game for maintenance, fixes and updates, with or without notice, and we may shut the service down entirely, in which case we will give at least 30 days' notice whenever possible.
8. Purchases: Gold, VIP and the shop
The whole game can be played without paying anything. The shop offers Gold (the game currency, the same one on the noticeboard) and VIP (benefits for a fixed number of days), paid for with real money through the app stores (Google Play, App Store) or, on the website, by direct payment (such as Pix). When you buy:
- What you acquire is a licence to use it inside the game, personal and non-transferable — not property. Gold, VIP and any in-game item have no monetary value outside the game, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be sold to third parties.
- Delivery is immediate and the Gold is available to spend right away; VIP counts from the moment of purchase and, if bought again, adds to the time remaining. There is no recurring charge and no automatic renewal: each purchase stands alone.
- Right of withdrawal: for purchases made on the website, you may withdraw within 7 days (article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code) and get your money back, as long as the Gold bought has not been spent and the VIP has not been used — because what has been consumed cannot be given back. For purchases made through the app stores, the refund rules of the store itself apply (Google or Apple), which is who processes the payment.
- Reversals and chargebacks: if a payment is reversed after being credited, the corresponding Gold or VIP is taken back from the account, even if it has already been spent — the balance may go negative until it is settled. Repeated or fraudulent reversals lead to account suspension.
- Prices may change at any time; the change does not affect purchases already made. The price shown is the final price.
- Mistakes: if a bug gives you Gold, VIP or an item you neither bought nor earned by playing, we may take it back. If a bug takes away what you bought, we restore it — talk to Support.
- Purchases by people under 18 without a guardian's authorisation may be cancelled upon proof, with what was delivered being taken back.
9. App stores (Google Play and the App Store)
When you use War Huts through an app downloaded from a store, that store's terms also apply. And, specifically for the Apple App Store, it is agreed that:
- These Terms are an agreement between you and War Huts, and not with Apple or Google. The store is not responsible for the app or its content.
- The licence to use the app is personal, non-transferable and valid on devices you own or control, according to the store's own usage rules.
- Maintenance and support for the app are War Huts' responsibility; the store has no obligation to provide them. The channel is Support ([email protected]).
- If the app does not work as promised, you may notify the store, which may refund the price paid for the app (where there is one) — and, to the extent permitted by law, that is the store's only warranty obligation. Any other claim — product, consumer, intellectual property, regulatory — is handled with War Huts, not with the store.
- You declare that you are not in a country under a United States embargo nor on any United States government list of prohibited parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with respect to the iOS app, and may enforce them against you.
10. Intellectual property
War Huts — the game, the code, the artwork, the names, the texts, the rules, the website — is protected by copyright and belongs to its holder. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive and revocable licence to play. Copying, modifying, distributing, decompiling or using the game or its artwork for any other purpose without authorisation is not allowed. What you write in the game (nickname, clan name, messages) remains yours; by writing it, you authorise us to display it inside the game and the website to other players, which is what it exists to be.
11. Privacy
What we keep about you, what for and for how long is in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
12. Availability and limits of liability
- War Huts is provided "as is", under active development. We do not guarantee that it will stay online without interruption, that it will be free of errors or that it will meet any specific purpose of yours.
- We make regular backups; even so, a failure may take the world back to the last saved point and erase a few minutes of play. Progress in local mode (without signing in) stays only on your device and we keep no copy of it.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of progress, of time, of local data, of profits or for indirect damages arising from the use or unavailability of the game, and our total liability on any grounds is limited to the amount you paid War Huts in the 12 months before the event.
- Nothing in these Terms removes rights that the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code or other applicable law guarantees you and that cannot be waived by contract.
13. Closing your account
You can delete your account whenever you like, inside the game itself (⚙️ Settings → Delete account) or by asking Support (see the Privacy Policy, section 8). Deletion has a 4-day grace period: during that time the account stays as it is and you can cancel the request in the same place; once the period is over, deletion is permanent — the village becomes a free hut again, the nickname is released and whatever the law requires us to keep is left with no link to you. Unused purchases are not refunded on voluntary deletion, except for the right of withdrawal in section 8. We may close an account for the reasons in section 6, or for very long inactivity with notice.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. For consumer matters, the courts of your place of residence apply, as guaranteed by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. We will always try to sort things out through Support first — almost everything is settled with a conversation.
15. Changes to these Terms
When we change the Terms, the date at the top changes and we announce it through the in-game Mail. Significant changes apply from the announcement onwards; continuing to play after it means accepting them. If you do not agree, stop using the game and, if you wish, request account deletion.
16. Who is responsible for the game
War Huts is developed and operated by Antonio Savio França Silveira, an individual, in Brazil. For any matter — questions, complaints, account requests, reports — the channel is [email protected].
For sales made directly on the website (outside the app stores), under Brazilian Decree 7,962/2013: seller Antonio Savio França Silveira, CPF 135.415.787-77, contact [email protected].
